Yet CRT and BLM insist on blaming all people with white skin for slavery.

No, they don’t, what makes you say that? I’m not saying that this isn’t the view of some people, but it certainly isn’t the mainstream of either CRT or BLM.

Having said that, the fact that somebody like you can make that claim possibly helps to explain the antipathy towards teaching what is, for the most part, historical truth. The fact is that any society is a product of its history. For example, Britain suffers less from the legacy of slavery than the USA for two reasons. First, we abolished slavery much earlier, and second, we had very few slaves in Britain itself.

You make a good point about the poor white sharecroppers. These were the people who lost a lot from the abolition of slavery as suddenly people who were previously not treated as human were able to compete with them. This is a major source of discontent that continues to this day in opposition to equal opportunities legislation. The slave owners pretty much carried on as they were, even if they now had to pay wages.
