Where the TikToker totally missed the point is that, while it is true that people of all colours have beenslaves, it is only Black Americans who can almost all say that their recent ancestors were slaves. My wife's grandmother was a slave in Africa in the last century, but in general slavery was fairly rare in that culture (East Africa) at that time, although it clearly did exist. There are still, today, people held as slaves and bought and sold, even here in the UK, but it is not a major part of the culture. So for me (or even my wife) to say anything about slavery it is not from personal or even, for the most part, family experience.
