Why do you think your second sentence disagrees with the first? Anybody with a modicum of intelligence and no axe to grind would not interpret the second amendment as the right for anyone to walk around carrying a deadly weapon. The right to bear arms is clearly within the context of a well regulated militia. To read it any other way is a perversion of logic and justice.
