Should we teach CRT in public schools to children who have not developed critical reasoning skills? Certainly not.

As an outsider, there seem to be two aspects to CRT. One, the core, is to examine history critically. This is not usually done in schools until at least the higher grades. The second, and consequent, is that history around race should be taught truthfully (as it should, of course, around all topics). If that means that people get upset to learn that their ancestors were slavers who regularly imposed hideous punishments on their property while going to church every Sunday, so be it.
