I loved most of your article, but this really stuck in my craw. At the risk of going down the “not all white folks are like that” rabbit hole, not all white folks are like that. And it is frankly racist to generalize in that way.

Not to say that none of us would do that, I’m pretty sure most would. But saying all would perpetuates the sort of us and them thinking that got us into the mess in the first place.
