Clearly, we will not agree. You do not see what seems so obviously illogical to me, I cannot understand your devotion to that. So I will sign off with two phrases from fiction that seem to encompass all that is needed:

“Live long and prosper” as a wish for your life

“Be excellent to each other” as an exhortation to behaviour.
