Hello Albert

Let's pick that apart:

"God gave us free will..." Fair enough. No evidence that god was needed to give us free will, but not inconsistent with that lack of evidence

"To show us how much sin hurts us and him, he had Jesus teach us the truth" OK, so long as you accept the very dubious evidence that there ever was a prophet called Jesus/

"then die as a sacrifice for sins to show us his love for us". That is just sick. There is no way that any rational person could claim that a sacrifice (read murder) is an act of love. Surely an omniscient, omnipotent, all-loving god could find some other way? I could find another way so your god could. How about manifesting himself to all the people of the world, not just a tiny corner, and saying "you lot have got it wrong, this is what I meant". Shouldn't be too hard if your god is as powerful as you claim. Still leaves us with free will - we don't have to do as we are told, no blood sacrifice, no return to life after a three-day hangover. The father didn't sacrifice himself, he decided his son should die. OK, Holy Trinity, yadda, yadda, which makes even less sense.

No, I don't believe in a creator, but that is irrelevant. Almost all religions have a creator god, only Christianity has veneration of murder at its core, so I'm pretty confident it would appear as illogical to followers of the other 3,000 or so religions.
