As a child fifty plus years ago, we washed our hands after the toilet and before every meal. Apart from that, it was a bath once a week, unless we had been doing something particularly dirty or sweaty. Now I shower most days and sometimes more than once. yet according to dermatologists there really is no need to wash most of your body that often. After all, if you are covered with clean every day clothes, and aren’t doing anything dirty or sweaty, how are you getting dirty yourself? You are just washing away essential oils and (mostly) beneficial bacteria.
